Damaged deliveries
- Even though our goods are packed carefully, transport damage
may nevertheless occur. In this case, not us, but exclusively
the haulage company will be liable for the damage.
- Any transport damage that has not been duly ascertained
or was notified with delay cannot be replaced free of charge.
- The carrier must be notified immediately. If possible, have
any damage confirmed by the driver directly upon delivery
and accept the goods subject to reservation (if damage is
visible on the outside, check the contents in the presence
of the post delivery officer or driver to find out whether
they are intact).
- If the damage is very serious, we recommend you send the
goods back by return. Please inform us immediately.
- Notification of damage is also indispensable if the packing
shows no external traces of damage (concealed damage) e.g.
the packing will normally not show any damage of the goods
caused by compression due to throwing. For inspecting the
goods for any concealed damage and for the notification thereof,
you will have a period of 4 days after receipt of the goods.
Please keep the original packaging.
- Please contact us, and we will arrange for the damage to
be ascertained for you in writing at the haulage company.
Please send us a copy of this assessment.
- A free replacement delivery is not possible without a damage
report from the carrier.
- Please inform us immediately so that we can support you
in settling the damage claims.
- The damaged goods and the packing might be inspected by
the haulage company.
- We will pick up any damaged goods at your home and replace
them with new items.
