This classic mid-20th century modern chair is a brilliant designed reproduction of the original Bertoia Wire Side Chair. Triple bright chrome steel frame!

Designed in the early 1950's by Italian born Harry Bertoia, the sculptural Wire Chair is a study of space, form, and function. With its unique bent and welded steel rod construction the chair is exceptionally strong and surprisingly comfortable.

Comes complete with a black leatherette indoor or outdoor custom seat pad for durability.

Artist, sculptor, jewelery maker and designer Harry Bertoia designed the Wire Side Chair for Knoll in the early 1950's. The Wire Side Chair is a study of space, form and function. Made entirely by hand, the Wire Chair featured a frame built out of chrome steel rods bent into a wire mesh, which makes it exceptionally strong.

The black seat cushion is padded with a foam insert for softness. The brightly chromed steel frame pairs nicely with all other modern classic furnishings. The wide, contoured arm chair is suited to contemporary living rooms, bedrooms, restaurants and professional reception areas
