Exhibited for the first time with a leather back and seat at the Weissenhof in 1927, it was produced until 1930 by Berliner Metallgewerbe Joseph Mueller, and from 1931 by Bamberg Metalwerkstaatten, to which all the designs by Mies and Lily Reich were transferred. Within the same year, however, Mies stipulated a contract with Thonet Mundus of Zurich, which guaranteed the worldwide distribution of the products. The version with armrests of the model was exhibited at the Weissenhof in 1927.

Materials: Tubular polished chrome side chair with seat and back in cane. Your choice of rush bark or natural pith cane. Rush bark is slightly darker than natural pith and is flat. Natural pith is the internal of the rush bark. Natural pith is round and considered to be more delicate than rush bark.
